GEM Wall and Ceiling Contractors is a Metal Framing, Drywall and Acoustical Ceilings contractor servicing the Construction industry in South-central Pennsylvania. We are experts in the field of interior walls and ceilings. Our professionals specialize in high-end residential building and commercial construction where our clients are seeking a superior level of value, performance and quality.

We partner with other contractors and educational facilities in order to provide training, counsel, and other expertise as requested. We are proud to be a significant part of the exciting field of construction.

History
In 1954, Mr. G. Earl Martin began the business in Lancaster County by looking for new construction opportunities in the area. After many years of hard work and a focus on quality installations, the payoff came in the form of a thriving and growing business. Then in the mid 70's, the Martin's eldest son Larry was ready to assume the Presidency. Larry's commitment to people and his affinity for detail enabled him to build strong relationships with employees and customers and give guidance to the company. Under his leadership three divisions were started: Residential, Commercial and Plastering. EIFS and Acoustical Ceilings were soon added.

Fast-forward to 2002 and the company had grown to over 130 employees. Larry became chairman of the board and partnered with Jonathan Frank who was appointed VP of Operations. As business grew and industries evolved, so did the company. In 2005, the company reinvented itself once again and became Martin Plastering Inc. to focus on Stucco, Plastering and EIFS. At the same time, a new company was formed; GEM Wall & Ceiling Contractors, to specialize and focus efforts on Metal Framing, Drywall and Acoustical Ceilings.
